A blocked writer summons a muse from Greek mythology in search of inspiration — but the presence he awakens turns creation into obsession, and obsession into catastrophe.

T. Z. is a Norwegian writer-director whose work explores experimental cinema, myth, psychology and the darker forces behind artistic creation. DARK MUSE is a contemporary silent art thriller shaped by music, image and atmosphere.
The performers in DARK MUSE are local residents of Tynset, Norway, including the young musician Ung Død. Created in close collaboration with this ensemble, the film draws its atmosphere from local presence, trust and a shared sense of place.
